Global Fire FIBER RS232 converter converts light pulses on the fiber line to RS232 voltage levels, enabling panels to connect to the ODYSSEY software. It requires 12V DC auxiliary power supply to operate. In installations where the distance between the panel and computer is bridged by fiber optic cable, it is installed on the computer side of the line.
