The 4 8 INPUT is an addressable input module that transmits normally open dry contact connections from third-party equipment to the fire alarm control panel. It is selected as 4 or 8-input according to requirements. Each input is individually monitored; open circuit or short circuit on the line is reported to the panel as a fault.
