Delay Chamber
A reservoir installed between a wet alarm valve and the alarm line that collects brief water passages caused by fluctuations in network pressure, preventing the gong and pressure switch from operating unnecessarily. The narrow discharge outlet at the bottom of the reservoir continuously drains this water; in case of an actual fire, the flow continues, the reservoir fills, and the alarm is transmitted. It reduces false alarm numbers in facilities where pressure fluctuations are frequent.
