EdwardsFHSD8100-99 - LaserSense 100 High-Sensitivity Detector

LaserSense 100 is a compact, high-sensitivity aspirating (air-sampling) smoke detector. It uses laser forward light scattering; the ClassiFire artificial-intelligence system learns the normal behaviour of the environment and sets the sensitivity itself, so the same unit runs at high sensitivity in a computer room and at reduced sensitivity in a smoky area. The sampling pipe runs up to 100 m (50 m in moving air) with up to 20 holes; RS-485 communication is built in as standard. It is used in data storage areas, plant rooms, air-conditioning units and air ducts, and in places such as prison cells where the detector itself must be out of reach. It is an indoor detector rated IP40, EN 54-20 compliant and CPR and VdS approved.
