Esser RK-ZONE8 INTEVIO 8-Zone Announcement Expansion Unit

The zone expander RK-ZONE8 is used to increase the number of loudspeaker lines and interfaces in the INTEVIO system. It provides 16 loudspeaker outputs corresponding to eight zones, eight monitored contact inputs, and eight contact outputs; an external amplifier is required to drive the loudspeakers. Contact inputs are connected to the fire detection system to initiate warning and evacuation messages. Even if the control unit's processor fails, audio can be supplied to local zones from the line input.
