The DCU 560-24 model from Esser, part of Honeywell, was developed for powering separate alarm and notification zones. In a mains-input cabinet, its 24 V DC regulated output delivers 1.5 A current; the power supply, battery charging circuit, and battery monitoring are combined in a single housing. A transparent protective cover is provided against accidental contact with live components. The built-in multi-function indicator distinguishes different fault messages.
