This model is the 12 V DC version of the zone transponder that transfers four conventional zone inputs to addressable addressing; zone voltage is fixed and non-adjustable. It is preferred in renovation work where the wiring of old detectors and buttons is preserved and the system power supply is 12 V. It offers two relay outputs for general-purpose control. Since it matches the panel power supply, it can be put into service without installing an additional voltage converter.
