This wall-mounted transponder communicates with 32 wireless devices, conveying automatic detectors, fire buttons, and IQ8Alarm Plus notification devices to the esserbus line. It differs from the gateway in requiring 9-30 V DC external power and offering dry contact outputs for general fault and general alarm. It can be installed on the loop, in a conventional zone, or as an independent unit. In large production areas, it consolidates the field at a single point.
