Esser 805590 is the standard mounting base for IQ8Quad series detectors. When the detector is removed from the base, the loop automatically closes; the rest of the line continues to operate and the entire system does not go offline during maintenance. If necessary, the base also serves a protective function against unauthorized removal of the detector; a practical detail that reduces device loss in public areas.
