A protective cover manufactured for the taller housing of IQ8Quad detectors equipped with internal alarm sirens. During final finishing and renovation work, it closes both the measurement chamber and sound outlet openings against dust ingress. It is useful in areas where siren-equipped detector types are preferred, such as hotel rooms, hospital corridors, and schools. When the cover is removed, the device commissions with its original sensitivity and requires no cleaning.
