A cover that protects the installed IQ8Quad detector from dust and paint particles during construction and renovation work. It is sized according to the body dimensions of IQ8Quad housings without internal alarm sirens. It prevents measurement chamber soiling in installations that prefer to install detectors before rough construction completion. This eliminates commissioning-stage false alarms due to contamination and premature device replacement costs.
