A deep-bodied rubber gasket that surrounds the IQ8Quad socket and provides universal protection. Unlike the flat type, it seals off moisture coming from the sides from reaching the socket in a leakproof manner; thus the protection rating becomes IP 43. Used in production areas where washing takes place, cold air corridors, and semi-open outdoor spaces. Since no condensation and corrosion form on the contact surface, connection-related fault reports are reduced.
