OTblue from Honeywell's Esser brand is a multi-sensor detector that uses a blue LED instead of red in its optical chamber. By interpreting smoke and temperature data together, it distinguishes flaming fires without a radioactive source; it recognizes TF1 and TF6 test fires. Because it detects a wide range from invisible aerosols to large particles, it is used in sensitive areas. The integrated isolator separates only the faulty section in case of a circuit short.
