Designed to identify fires that release significant heat, this fixed temperature detector generates an alarm when the threshold value is reached. With stable temperature characteristics, it replaces optical detection in dusty or exhaust fume-filled spaces. Distributed intelligence, alarm and operational data memory, and software address assignment are common features of the IQ8Quad family. The isolator line inside protects the loop; it has VdS, BOSEC, and FM approval.
