This optical smoke detector, manufactured under the Esser brand of Honeywell, operates on the scattered light principle and detects the first smoke of a fire before flames appear. Thanks to its ability to adapt to ambient conditions, accumulated dirt over time does not impair detection sensitivity. It is the standard choice for clean spaces such as offices, hotel rooms, corridors, and shops. It can monitor areas up to 110 m², stores alarm records in its memory, and can be used with a parallel indicator lamp.
