This threshold-value detector package combines the optical smoke detector of the ES Detect series with the relay-output 805592 base. Because it connects directly to 48 V DC power supply, its operation does not depend on connection to a fire alarm panel; the alarm is transmitted via dry contact. The contact is set to normally closed at the factory; it can be made normally open with a solder bridge on the card. It is used for monitoring unmanned locations, such as base station cabinets.
