A serial interface establishing bidirectional data exchange between the fire control panel network and upper-level systems. Unlike its unidirectional counterpart, it not only provides information but also accepts control commands from external sources. It is used in remote management of scenarios to be executed at the time of alarm by connecting to the building automation system.
