Esser 782432 Two-Channel UV/IR Ex Approved Flame Detector, 15 m Range

A two-channel flame detector that evaluates ultraviolet and infrared bands together; recognizes flames produced by the combustion of hydrocarbons and hydrogen compounds. The requirement that the UV signal in the 0.185-0.260 μm range and the IR signal in the 2.5-3.0 μm range be seen simultaneously eliminates single-band false alarms. At the highest sensitivity level, it produces a decision within five seconds at distances up to 15 meters. Approved for use in explosive areas.
