The UniVario heat detector from Honeywell's Esser brand is a rugged field device designed for rapidly heat-generating flame fires. Thanks to its die-cast aluminum body and IP 67 protection class, it operates in dusty, humid industrial environments and outdoors. It draws power and connection directly from the conventional zone on the esserbus transponder, and reset is also performed from there. It monitors 30 m² area up to 7.5 m height; it is VdS and FM approved.
