This peripheral module installed on the interface card of the IQ8Control control panel provides the system with an additional micromodule slot. It can only be used at system terminal 1 of the interface card; this limitation must not be overlooked during the planning phase. Without a micromodule installed, it draws approximately 15 mA standby current, and this value enters into the power budget calculation. It adds capacity without replacing the control panel when new circuit boards or interfaces are required.
