A module used to extend the sensor line, replace a damaged cable section, or establish intermediate connection between the evaluation unit and the line. Screw terminals allow two cable ends to be securely joined. It should be noted that intermediate extensions made with IY(St)Y communication cable are not covered under VdS. On long gallery lines, only the damaged section is replaced rather than the entire affected area.
