The X 9800 is an infrared flame detector that operates in explosive atmospheres with its pressure-resistant fully enclosed housing. Its LED and three separate relay outputs directly indicate operating, fault, and alarm conditions. With heated optics that prevent frosting and condensation, it can be used outdoors down to -40 °C and is also resistant to contamination. It monitors distances up to 25 meters in turbine fields, petrochemical plants, and automotive manufacturing; it is approved for ATEX and SIL 2.
