Esser 583332 UIM Overvoltage Protection Module for Contacts
Product Code: 583332
This protection module protects 12 of the 48 command contacts on the UIM—that is, one block—against overvoltage. It must be used in systems within the EN 54-16 scope if the cable to external contacts exceeds 3 meters in length. The module is installed in place of the 12-channel signal cable numbered 583401.21 and is supplied together with the connection cable. It prevents voltage surges from long lines from reaching the interface card.
