A 15 W horn-type loudspeaker manufactured for announcements and audible warning transmission in explosive atmospheres. It is powered from a 100 V line and transmits in the bandwidth between 400 Hz and 8000 Hz; this range is suitable for speech intelligibility. The robust structure of the Ex series demonstrates resistance to chemical and environmental effects. Its ability to operate between -50 °C and 70 °C allows use in open-field installation areas.
