The Efire NOVA-UG-7 is a duct type detector that detects smoke by sampling air from the airflow inside ventilation ducts. It is mounted on the duct wall; the sampling tube directs the air in the flow to the detection chamber. Since it is connected to the loop line with its own address, the alarming duct is directly visible on the panel, and the shutdown of air handling units and dampers is performed based on this information.
