The EFIRE EHD and ERD series are conventional heat detectors that detect rises in ambient temperature. The series consists of EHD-A (58) and EHD-B (82) temperature classes and the ERD model. It is connected to a zone line and has no address of its own. It is used in dusty or steamy spaces such as boiler rooms, kitchens, and parking lots where smoke detectors may produce nuisance alarms.
