Extended coverage heads protect a larger area than a standard head covers alone. This results in a solution with fewer heads and less piping in the same space. ECLH class is for light hazard areas: offices, hotel rooms, schools, and similar spaces. In return, the required flow rate and pressure per head increases; the water supply in design must accommodate this increase.
