Paging microphone. By being connected to the paging system, it enables live announcements. In paging microphones, the push button keeps the microphone open only during speech; a continuously open microphone carries ambient noise into the broadcast. The flexible gooseneck is directed according to the speaker; the heavy base prevents sliding.
