RS-485 is a bidirectional converter that transforms the communication line into single mode fiber optic cable. It enables extension of the panel network up to 20 km across blocks or separate buildings; it is preferred in routes where copper line is affected by electrical noise. It uses SC type connector and external power supply is provided with the product.
