XTR2 ADAP is an apparatus that enables the Testifire XTR2 test device to be used in aspirating smoke detection systems. By directing the test substance to the suction line, it allows air sampled from the sampling point to reach the detection unit and enables end-to-end system verification. It is used in areas with installed aspirating systems such as archives, clean rooms, and data centers. It is observed to produce a response from the installation at the point of commissioning and periodic inspection.
