It is a T piece made of non-combustible material used when a branch of the same diameter needs to be separated from the main line. Since tubes of equal diameter are connected on both sides, flow is distributed evenly to both branches. It is a solution employed in installations where large volumes are monitored by dividing them into two separate zones. Balanced distribution eliminates the risk of one branch responding later than the other.
