The red surface-mount adapter base upgrades the SOLEX strobe and ROLP siren family to IP 65 protection. Because it mounts directly to the surface, it is used on concrete, brick, and panel walls where sub-surface boxes cannot be opened. The cable is routed through the base body and reaches the alarm device in a sealed manner. Its red color identifies the device as emergency equipment from a distance, supporting navigation during evacuation.
