It is a conventional flame detector that performs measurement over the ultraviolet band and aims to provide protection against fires with open flames. Flames from gas, fuel, plastic and metal sources are detected earlier by this method. Since it responds without waiting for smoke accumulation, it is effective in high-ceiling volumes with strong ventilation. It is added to the existing system by connecting to the zone line of the conventional panel.
