EX4A4 GBR is an expansion card that increases the detector zone count of the ALPHA control panel by four. By preserving the control panel body and existing wiring, separate zones can be defined for newly added floors or sections. It is a frequently used method in buildings undergoing renovation and facilities where the purpose of use has changed. Keeping zones separate narrows the search area when an alarm occurs and accelerates the discharge decision.
