It is a non-combustible coupling with a red body that brings two pipe ends together on the same axis on a straight line. It is manufactured to work with twenty-five millimeter aspiration tubing and provides a tight fit in a single action. It is consumed at every point along long corridor lines and wherever pipe lengths are joined. Complete sealing at connection points prevents the system from malfunctioning in air flow rate measurement.
