DL-520-OMS is used for addressing audible and visual alarm devices in the DC520 system. The module contains a monitored fault input and a monitored voltage output powering the alarm devices; the bidirectional isolator within the EN 54-17 and EN 54-18 scope divides the circuit against short circuits. A break in the siren line appears as a fault on the panel. Thus you learn of a malfunction before the day of fire rather than on the day of fire.
