This socket sounder, used in addressable circuits of the DC-520 family, is mounted on detector bases, combining detection and alarm at the same point. Since it draws power from the line, separate sounder wiring is not required and installation is simplified. The internal bidirectional isolator prevents the entire system from going silent when a line short circuit occurs. German-manufactured Detectomat equipment with its 75 dB(A) output level is clearly audible in quiet spaces.
