DAB basic is an adapter body that enables surface-mounted installation of detector sockets and creates a protective enclosure in areas with moisture. Since it is fully compatible with all German-manufactured Detectomat detector sockets, it provides a uniform solution for the project. In installations where cable routing cannot be concealed within the ceiling, a neat appearance is achieved. It does not include mounting materials; it is completed with the field fastening kit.
