A four-channel combined module that protects data cables in the panel network against overvoltage. The 5 V level protection is selected according to the sensitive driver layers of incoming and outgoing data lines. By bringing together four conductors with common reference potential in a single housing, it saves space within the panel. It prevents a nearby lightning strike from silently disabling the panel network.
