Decon DS-EN32FCS Ceiling Speaker

Decon DS-EN32FCS is a recessed ceiling loudspeaker whose rear is enclosed by a fire dome; it belongs to the DS-EN series offered for voice alarm (EVAC) systems. Measures such as a fire dome, ceramic terminal block and thermal fuse are used in such loudspeakers so that the line does not short-circuit and silence the zone even if the loudspeaker fails in a fire; these are product features, not requirements of EN 54-24. EN 54-24 does not include a test of operating time in a fire or of fire resistance.
