Hood Interior Nozzle

A suppression discharge head positioned to face the inner surface of the hood and filter area rather than the cooking surface. When grease and oil accumulated there ignite, flames progress through the filter mesh toward the duct line, so the nozzle distributes the agent in a wide spray pattern rather than a narrow stream, covering the entire surface. In hood suppression systems, it is mounted in front of the filters at the section where oil accumulates most.
