Cooper MDP201 Duct-Type Smoke Detector Housing

The Cooper MDP201 duct-type smoke detector housing detects smoke in ventilation ducts via two sampling tubes. Air samples are drawn from the duct flow and must be mounted in a low-turbulence area. At high-turbulence points, sampling is disrupted and the detector may fail to alarm despite smoke being present in the duct; mounting location is therefore critical.
