The ZAFIRPWS2 and ZAFIRPWS5 are external fire detection power supplies certified under EN 54-4 with battery charging circuitry housed in the enclosure. They are activated when the number of sirens, strobes, and modules exceeds the control panel's output power. The EN 54-4 certificate requires that the system operate on battery for the specified duration when mains power is lost and that fault monitoring be provided.
