MDL1R, MDL2R and MDL-8 are relay modules for fire detection systems. They provide unsupervised dry contact output; can be used as normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC). The numeral in the model number indicates the number of relays. Unsupervised output means that cable breaks are not detected by the control panel — supervised output should be preferred for safety-critical commands.
