MDA2Y is a microprocessor-based addressed module connected to the detection loop; it independently manages two relays. It allows the execution of two separate commands such as damper closure, elevator descent, and ventilation shutdown from a single module. Because it is addressed, which command is triggered by which event is monitored from the control panel.
