A50SI is an algorithmic addressable optical smoke detector housed in a short circuit isolator body. It detects combustion products that appear before flames become visible. The built-in isolator prevents a short circuit in the loop from disabling other devices — on a line without an isolator, a single cable fault brings down the entire loop.
