Fibre-optic interface unit (4E-FSC) for the C500. It carries the C500 network over multimode fibre where a copper network link is not long enough; according to the manufacturer's current datasheet the distance is up to 2 km (20 km with the single-mode 4E-FSC-S). Receive and transmit use separate fibres. It connects to the C500's RJ45 global network (G-net) port, is powered from the same port and mounts on a DIN rail.
