It is a communication card used to connect peripheral units with serial interfaces to the panel. It combines two different interfaces on a single card, one being S20 and the other RS232; a Plena emergency announcement system can be connected at the RS232 end. With its plug-and-play design and removable terminals, it is installed directly into the panel slot. The presence of both interfaces on the same card allows the announcement system and serial peripheral unit to be connected from a single slot.
