It is an interface card used to connect external devices and indicators to the panel. It contains eight electrically isolated digital inputs and eight open collector outputs. It is used in installations where separate indicator panels need to be driven or various electrical devices must be connected to the panel. The isolated structure prevents electrical interference from long field lines from being transmitted to the panel electronics.
