It is an interface card that connects an addressable fire panel to a monitoring system at a higher level. Communication is conducted via the MTS protocol and the connection can be established in a redundant manner. Yellow and green LEDs make the line status readable on the card. The redundant structure ensures that the upper system does not lose connection with the panel if one of the communication paths is severed.
